“With this Heart” by R. S. Grey

What a simply phenomenal book.  I have to say that I loved many aspects of this book.

The Story: Girl meets boy.  Boy invites self on Girls’ road trip.  Road trip is aborted halfway through.  Girl and boy restart trip, fall in love and then… no spoilers.

Hero/Heroine: Beck is the most amazing character.  Simply happy.  He always seemed to be smiling and making Abby laugh.  Abby is serious.  She is lost in herself and doesn’t know where her future is headed.  The two characters seem to bring out the best in each other.  The romance between the two is so heartfelt and I loved the transition from strangers to friends to lovers.

Characters: Caroline was a sweet addition to the cast and so was Tranny Danny.  I loved the fun that Danny brought to both Abby and to the story line.  I was happy to hear at the end of the book that Danny played a part in helping Abby heal and discover her future.

Editing: The editing had nothing noticeably wrong and I enjoyed the attention to detail.

Final Thoughts: What a fun book.  The journey of the story as well as the physical journey of the characters was well worth my time.  I enjoyed every aspect of this book.  The female character was strong and intelligent and the hero was worthy of being any girl’s favorite book boyfriend.  I would actually love to see where these characters end up.
